When I come home late from work and have a riff to work on or song idea. very impressed and for my needs it has very useful application. Picked up ezmix2 with 6 expansion packs (Andy sneap, GG3, mastering 1 and 2, modern metal guitar, Bob rock) last week. I started looking at ezmix 2 and read and heard so many negative comments about them ( its limited/sound isn’t as good). Ez drummer has made things so simple for me because I know nothing about programming/playing drums and the tap to find feature and endless drum midi loops that are available have made slapping drums on my music a breeze. been an avid user of Ez drummer II and EZbass.
My goal now is to work on songwriting and just making music. Each amp sim I have tried can all sound good and be used in a mix IF you know how to tweak and adjust them but recently I am feeling that this tone chasing thing with amp sims and irs will just go on and on.I started thinking what exactly do I need, what goals do I have, and what tools will help me in achieving them?Unfortunaley I don’t have tons of time with a family and work. I have been on a fence on buying more amp sims/software because having owned almost all the neural /stl/amplitube/ guitar rig/waves/mericuriall/helix/ml sound lab, York audio irs/audio assault/ overloud th3 and tried tons of free amp sims (ignite, lepou, nalex etc…) I feel I pretty much hit a wall.
